High School Theatre Festival

The High School Theatre Festival(HSTF) is a highlight of the VTA experience. High Schools across Virginia are invited to prepare a one-act play for public presentation and adjudication at the event. Typically the HSTF takes place on the Thursday and Friday of the conference.

$175 Early Bird Festival Registration

As schools register and pay, they will be given the opportunity to request the date and “time block” of their festival performance.
Priority seating at the awards program will be based on the order in which registration is received.
Payment must be received by September 1 to honor this price.

$225 After September 1

— Official handbooks for the HSTF will be available July 1

Middle School Theatre Festival

The Middle School Theatre Festival(MSTF) is a highlight of the VTA experience. Middle Schools across Virginia are invited to prepare a one-act play for public presentation and adjudication at the event. Typically the MSTF takes place on Saturday.

$175 Early Bird Festival Registration— Payment must be received by September 1 to honor this price.

$225 After September 1
